OptiBiotix To Demonstrate Microbiome Expertise At Probiota 2019

OptiBiotix Health Plc. (OptiBiotix), a leading life sciences business focused on harnessing the power of the human microbiome, will demonstrate progressive research and new developments in prebiotics, probiotics and the microbiome at Probiota 2019.

Three abstracts created by the experts at OptiBiotix will be displayed at the event which will be held 13-15 February, 2019 at Scandic Copenhagen, Denmark. The abstracts focus on topics including the impact of sweet dietary fibres (SweetBiotix®) on the human faecal microbiome, the effect of functional ingredients on weight loss and gut microbiome composition and the antimicrobial activity of probiotics against pathogens of clinical relevance.

Stephen O’Hara, CEO of OptiBiotix, said: “Probiota is a premier event and we are excited to showcase our latest knowledge and expertise, which is backed by key professors in the field of microbiome science and clinical style human studies.”

Organised by the publishers of NutraIngredients, Probiota combines the latest insights from science, regulation and business to provide delegates with the ultimate event to bridge the gap between the worlds of business, regulation, research and product development in the rapidly growing and overlapping fields of probiotics, prebiotics and the microbiome.

OptiBiotix’s abstracts will be portrayed in a special poster viewing element of the event, the ‘Probiota 2019 Scientific Frontiers session’.

Over the three days, there will also be key updates from the IPA, alongside regulatory insights from top experts, and sessions looking at how proposed taxonomic changes will affect businesses or research.
