Optibiotix announces major uk distribution deal with Cambridge Commodities Ltd

OptiBiotix Health PLC (‘OptiBiotix’), a leading developer of compounds to tackle obesity, cardiovascular disease and diabetes, has announced its wholly-owned subsidiary – ProBiotix Health – has partnered with Cambridge Commodities Ltd (‘CCL’) enabling the distribution of patented probiotic strain LP_LDL^® and dietary supplement CholBiome^®_X3.

The deal grants CCL, one of the UK’s leading specialty ingredients suppliers, with a non-exclusive licence to supply the flagship ingredient, LP_LDL, alongside the cholesterol reducing supplement, CholBiome_X3, to businesses in the UK.

Built on strong scientific principles, the probiotic Lactobacillus Plantarum LP_LDL has a scientifically supported, mechanism of action that improves blood lipid profiles and blood pressure, transforming the way physical health is approached. Having demonstrated its efficacy through controlled human studies, LP_LDL has been shown to reduce total cholesterol levels by up to 36.7% and systolic blood pressure by up to 5.1%, supporting greater heart health.
