OptiBiotix announces new deal with French manufacturer Laboratoire PYC to create meal replacement shake range with SlimBiome® technology

OptiBiotix Health PLC (‘OptiBiotix’), a life sciences business developing compounds to tackle obesity, cardiovascular disease and diabetes, has announced a new contractual agreement with leading French nutricosmetics and food supplements company Laboratoire PYC Inc. (‘Laboratoire PYC’) to manufacture meal replacement shakes with its award-winning weight management ingredient, SlimBiome®.

Granting exclusive rights to Laboratoire PYC, a subsidiary of market-leading European food industry provider Solina Group, the agreement will enable the French manufacturer to create a range of meal replacement shakes to be sold under the consumer-facing brand, GoFigure®.

By utilising SlimBiome, the science-backed weight management technology from OptiBiotix, the shakes will contain a blend of non-digestible prebiotics and dietary fibres to help users feel fuller for longer. In addition, the innovative ingredient supports the metabolic breakdown of carbohydrates and fats to help maintain blood sugar levels, while stimulating the growth of healthy bacteria.
