Probiotix Health CholBiome® X3 shortlisted in prestigious NutraIngredients Asia Awards 2020

Top industry publication NutraIngredients Asia has announced CholBiome^®_X3, the unique cholesterol management supplement from ProBiotix Health (‘ProBiotix’), as a 2020 finalist in the Product of the Year: Probiotics category.

The company, which is a subsidiary of OptiBiotix Health PLC (‘OptiBiotix’), is part of the leading life sciences business which develops technologies to modulate the human microbiome to support improved health and wellbeing. It markets the unique probiotic strain Lactobacillus plantarum LP_LDL for use in food ingredients and supplements – such as CholBiome_X3 – to target cardiovascular health.

Backed by scientific, double-blind, parallel and placebo-controlled human studies, LP_LDL reduces harmful LDL cholesterol by 13.9%, while increasing good HDL cholesterol by 4.5%.
